Good place, charming vintage decor, decent food. Love the chicken tenders and fries which are prepared from scratch. The homemade pies are pretty good, especially the pumpkin and the apple pies. The only thing I don't like is they don't use homemade bread. The kids love eating here. Prices are reasonable. I've never had to wait too long for service! Unless one counts waiting for real food to get cooked as "waiting too long"? I guess in today's McDonald's insta-food world, waiting a normal amount of time for food that actually gets cooked rather than microwaved is intolerable? By the way, the man working the grill, he is the owner, and is in his 70's and has some arthritis. The girls who work for him know that and they don't take it personally when he's having a cantankerous day. Go and meet Goober (real name is Bob) and eat his grub! He's a really nice guy under the gruff exterior.

Best burgers around... And I love the milkshakes :)

Walking into the door automatically takes you back into time. The cafe is decorated with all sorts of cafe/diner memorabilia from the 1950s up. The only thing that is missing is the Jukebox I'm only in my 30s but I can remember as a kid going into the old diners as they were phasing out and seeing a lot of the things that were in there there now at goobers on Main of the old signs and Pepsi and Coke bottles and ice cream parlor equipment just to name a few things are awesome.

Came in with my boys and the waitress lingered to monitor when we were done with the basket of French fries. I wanted to set down and spend some time with my sons without so many interruptions. Also...there was no pie.

The food is definitely to die for I've never had anything there that was not prepared right and did not taste great. Goobers has everything from Hot Dogs 2 hamburgers french fries seasoned fries breakfast foods fish fries homemade baked goods and pies which by the way the homemade cherry pie is absolutely to die for I just had a slice the other day area you stop by goobers on Main it's located right next to the Family Dollar Store my personal rating for this restaurant is five stars.

Goobers on Main street is an awesome Cafe that has a 1950's - 1960's feel to it.

The atmosphere was so quite. It was just what we were looking for. The food was good the service was great. Very friendly
