Very nice area to visit, the beach was clean and recently groomed by a tractor. The swimming area is a pretty good size. When we were there, the water was pretty cold but didn't stop people from swimming. They sell ice cream at the building, there is a lot of parking and across the road there is a baseball diamond. Near the beach, you can rent kayaks and bikes as well.
Beautiful area for family gatherings or a relaxing day outside with beautiful surroundings.

The beach is very family friendly with attentive lifeguards. The ice cream stand is pretty popular, especially on a hot day.
Beautiful area. But no evening hours for services. Gets kind of creepy after 6pm.
